Aiming to reach 11 students in 164 kindergartens affiliated with İZELMAN in the first place, the water-saving-oriented trainings aim at the ideal of a more livable environment for future generations.

Saving water use training for the little ones

In the schools included in the scope of the project, on-site training is given to kindergarten students aged 6 years. During the visits, where the water droplet mascot ŞIPŞIP accompanies the educators, basic topics such as children's awareness of where they waste water in daily life and how they can conserve water are shared with the students, accompanied by music and dances.

In the excursion program to be organized after the trainings, the children have the opportunity to visit Tahtalı Dam and see İzmir's most important water source closely. A trekking workshop is organized in the last leg of the trainings, which aim to use the available resources consciously for the continuation of clean water, allowing children to observe and understand how trees and soil protect water.
