Karaismailoğlu stated that the construction of the "Emek-YHT Station-City Hospital Metro Line" is also continuing, and announced that the 27-year total economic gain of the metro line will be 871 million 470 thousand dollars.

Stating that they have reunited Bursa with the railway with the "Balıkesir-Bandırma - Bursa - Yenişehir - Osmaneli High Speed ​​​​Train Line" project, Karaismailoğlu said that they built a double-track, high-speed train line in connection with the Ankara-Istanbul YHT Line. Karaismailoğlu, the project; Pointing out that the construction works include a total of 145 kilometers of infrastructure and 201 kilometers of superstructure construction, he said, “In addition to the construction of 7 stations within the scope of the project, 18 tunnels with a total length of 12 kilometers, 4,6 escape tunnels of 10 kilometers, 1 trenches of 5 kilometer. -cover tunnel, 4 railway bridges with a length of 28 kilometers, 4 viaducts with a length of 4 kilometers, 1,5 underpasses with a length of 66 kilometers and a total of 155 culverts will be manufactured.

At the moment; Underlining that they continue to work on infrastructure in the Osmaneli-Yenişehir direction, Karaismailoğlu continued his statement as follows:

“As part of the infrastructure works between the beginning of the route and the 48th kilometer, 2 million 100 thousand cubic meters of excavation and 350 thousand cubic meters of qualified filling were carried out. 18 percent progress was achieved in Earthworks. In Osmaneli Region Tunnels, 9 meters of excavation support has been reached and a total of 800 percent progress has been achieved. We also continue the coating concrete works in the tunnels. 48 thousand cubic meters of concrete casting was completed in the works of underpasses, culverts, bridges and viaducts and 28 percent progress was achieved. In total, 32 structures such as culverts, underpasses and bridges have been completed, and work continues on 34 buildings. Our station design works are also continuing. In the Bursa-Yenişehir direction, the superstructure works have started in the first 19 kilometers of the TCDD delivered. In this context, we finished the sub-ballast and ballast laying productions in the first 10 kilometers. We also continue the production of sleepers and rails. In addition, 2 thousand tons of rails came to the field and rails were started to be shipped to the superstructure. When our entire project is completed, travel times will be approximately 10 hours and 2 minutes between both Ankara-Bursa and Bursa-Istanbul.”

Emphasizing that another important rail system project in Bursa is the Emek-YHT Station-City Hospital Metro project, Karaismailoğlu said, “The construction of the Emek-YHT Station-City Hospital Metro Line was prepared between the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality and our Ministry on 8 June 2020. It was taken over by our Ministry with the transfer protocol. When our Emek-YHT Station-Şehir Hospital Metro Line, which has a total of 4 stations and a length of 5 kilometers, is completed, the length of the rail system in Bursa will reach 52 kilometers. Emek- Arabayatagi Metro Line, which is currently in operation; With the extension we will make, it will cross the Mudanya Boulevard and reach the YHT Station and eventually the City Hospital, and will facilitate the access of our citizens of Bursa to intercity transportation and health services. The two most important stops of the line are the high-speed train station and the hospital station. With the integration of the Bursa-Yenişehir-Osmaneli YHT Line, which is under construction, and the metro, a comfortable and punctual option will be offered for the high-speed train access of all Bursa. The scope of our project includes the depot area and 2 stations, the Görükle extension. We will start the construction activities in this section in the coming days. This new facility will also serve the maintenance and repair and parking needs of the entire metro vehicle fleet of the city. After the existing Emek Station, the first thousand 300 meters of the line will be crossed as level. After this point, the construction of the line will be carried out with the cut-and-cover method and when it is finished, our line will work as a system that passes under the streets and does not occupy space on the surface. Up to the present; We excavated 480 thousand cubic meters. We placed 12 piles of 400 thousand meters. We poured 250 thousand cubic meters of concrete. During our work, we also completed our traffic circulation projects so that they do not adversely affect the daily lives of the people of Bursa. We have started our work on creating alternative side roads on the roads we will work on, we have done 130 thousand 22 square meters of asphalt pavement and we continue to do so.”

WE STRENGTHEN BURSA'S TRANSPORTATION AND COMMUNICATION NETWORK

Minister of Transport, Karaismailoğlu, underlined that the Emek-YHT Station-City Hospital Metro Line will provide great financial gains as of the moment it comes into operation, and said, “In the 2023-year projection between 2050-27; With the completion of the line, 797 million dollars from time, 58 million dollars from highway maintenance and operation, 1 million 170 thousand dollars from accidents to be prevented and 15 million 640 thousand dollars from external benefits such as air pollution, climate change and noise, the total economic gain will be 871 million 470 thousand dollars. We are aware of the importance of every project that will strengthen the transportation and communication network of Bursa, which is one of the leading cities of our industry, trade, agriculture and tourism.”

WE INVESTED APPROXIMATELY 43 BILLION LIRA IN BURSA'S TRANSPORTATION AND COMMUNICATION INFRASTRUCTURE

Karaismailoğlu stated that they have implemented and closely followed very important projects that will carry Bursa into the future, and that they have invested approximately 20 billion liras in Bursa's transportation and communication infrastructure only in the last 43 years. “Bursa had 2003 kilometers of divided roads in 195. Our total divided road length is approximately 600 kilometers today,” said Minister of Transport, Karaismailoğlu, adding that they have increased the 148 kilometers of BSK-paved road to 772 kilometers today. Karaismailoğlu noted that they will not break their ties with Bursa and will follow the projects.
