Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu stated that they have put into service the Yenimahalle intersection with different levels, which will strengthen the transportation network of Gemlik, and said that the traffic density will decrease with the increase of the road standard. Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu attended the opening ceremony of the Gemlik Yenimahalle Differential Interchange. Pointing to the investments made in Bursa, Karaismailoğlu said, “We were in Bursa in the first days of 100, the 2023th anniversary of our glorious Republic, the flare of the Turkish Century. We have opened our 7 different highway projects, which are the last examples of our services to Bursa. We laid the foundation of TEKNOSAB Junction. Last weekend, we started our 3,5-kilometer University-Görükle metro works within the scope of our Emek-YHT Station-City Hospital Project in Bursa, again under the leadership of our President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

“For this reason, we built the 75-meter-long Yenimahalle Differential Interchange at the Gemlik Yenimahalle junction on the Gemlik-Armutlu Road. The total length of the project; It exceeds 950 kilometers with 2 meters of connection roads. Yenimahalle crossing of the road was the only one. We upgraded to split road standard. In addition, traffic density will be relieved as the platform width of the road has increased from 12 meters to 19 meters. The people of Gemlik and those who visit our paradise will breathe a sigh of relief. Of course, as in all our projects, we also considered environmental benefits. There will be no more stop-start vehicles that cause serious fuel wastage and air pollution.”

So, we are paving the way for Turkey. Road transport, one of the most important service branches within the body of our Ministry, is one of the most indispensable modes of transport. It plays a key role in both international and domestic freight and passenger transport activities. It assumes a vital function as the capillary of the logistics system. Highways are critical for gaining competitive advantage in international markets, as well as illuminating the face of countries thanks to the projects built in accordance with the needs of the age. We are aware of this importance and we are always at the beginning of our work together with thousands of our colleagues. High-quality, uninterrupted, comfortable and high-level highways, which contribute directly to the economy thanks to these efforts of our Ministry, have become the pioneers of equal, balanced and sustainable development moves adorned with innovative values.

Karaismailoğlu, who stated that they never stopped and always said to keep going, underlined that under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, they have invested more than 20 billion dollars in Turkey's transportation and communication infrastructure in the last 183 years.

WE BRING A STORM OF SERVICES AND WORKS AROUND TURKEY

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Karaismailoğlu said, “We have stormed services and works in all corners of Turkey, and we continue to do so. We have completed giant projects and world-class works in a short period of 100 years, which others could not build in 20 years, and put them at the service of not only our country but also the world. We have turned our country into an international corridor with the achievements we have achieved thanks to the large-scale highway works that require advanced technology, such as the Eurasia Tunnel, Yavuz Sultan Selim, Osmangazi and 1915 Çanakkale Bridges, and the Istanbul-İzmir, Ankara-Niğde and Northern Marmara highways. We connected the world to Turkey. We have moved our country forward with divided roads, highways, mega projects and smart transportation systems. We increased our divided road network, which was 2003 thousand kilometers long before 6, to 29 thousand kilometers. Moreover; Our construction of 3 kilometers of divided roads, 665 highway tunnels with a length of 458 kilometers, and 127 bridges and viaducts with a length of 80 kilometers continues at the same time. When we come to 488, we will reach 2053 thousand kilometers of our divided road network”.

Explaining that they are one step closer to these goals by opening the Yenimahalle Interchange with Different Levels in Gemlik and the Bus Station Junction Bridge and Connection Roads in Yalova, Karaismailoğlu noted that they will complete many more big projects and start new ones in the centennial of the Republic. “We have an ambitious process that aims to integrate the world into our geography and we manage this process successfully in every mode of transportation,” said Karaismailoğlu, adding, “We are building and developing the infrastructure of Turkey, which has a say in trade routes in the world. We do not stop and we will continue to build the best, the most correct and the most comfortable to pave the way for our youth. Our investments are the product of our will, effort and hard work as a whole, from our engineers to our workers, from our technicians to our contractors.”
