The line, which has been prepared in accordance with the Izmir Transportation Master Plan, is expected to carry 2030 thousand passengers per day in 340. Where will the stations be?
The project route with 24 stations will be integrated into the Stadium Station of the existing metro line and will start with an independent station. The new metro line is Konak, Halkapınar, Food Bazaar, Tepecik, Istikbal, Gürçeşme, New Road, General Asım Gündüz, Çalıkuşu, Old İzmir, Seniha Mayda, Friendship Boulevard, Atatürk ATML, Altan Aydın, Fair İzmir, ESBAŞ, Gaziemir Old District Governorship, Abdullah Arda, Gaziemir Stadium, Gaziemir Güvenpark, Adnan Menderes Airport, Industry, Görece and Menderes.
İzmir Metropolitan Municipality submitted the approval of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure General Directorate of Transport Infrastructure for the project it prepared for the Karabağlar-Gaziemir Metro.
