Suggestions for Students Who Will Take LGS Exam

The Ministry of National Education has prepared an e-brochure for students who will take the central exam to be held on Sunday, June 5, within the scope of the High School Transition System. The e-brochure includes suggestions for students to manage the process effectively and to cope with exam anxiety.

According to the statement made by the Ministry, the e-brochure titled "Suggestions for the Exam" prepared by the General Directorate of Special Education and Guidance Services by expert guidance teachers and psychological counselors was published on the official website of the Ministry of National Education.

In the brochure, in which it was stated that test anxiety is a normal and should be experienced at a certain level, it was stated that excessive anxiety would create an obstacle to the full performance.

In the brochure, suggestions for controlling the emotions related to the exam are listed under three headings: physical, psychological and academic.

While it is recommended that the students who will take the exam eat adequate, balanced and healthy food, do exercises such as walking and jogging, and pay attention to sleep and rest, it is emphasized that expressing their feelings by talking, writing or painting will reduce anxiety.

Sample exercises were also included in the brochure so that students preparing for the exam could put all these suggestions into practice.
