Support and Training Courses (DYK) Joint Examination Held in Thousand 37 Schools

The Joint Examination of the Support and Training Courses (DYK), which was organized to help students reinforce the gains they had gained in the lessons, was held by selecting approximately 37 thousand students in 21 schools.

The 2nd Term Monitoring and Evaluation Exam of the DYK Common Exam, which is held by the Ministry of National Education to measure the achievements of the students in the curriculum of the courses opened through DYK, was held.

The exam was organized online through the Student/Teacher Support System (ods.eba.gov.tr), which was established to provide students with individualized education and teachers the opportunity to monitor their students.

In the aforementioned study, which is comprehensive, approximately 6 thousand students from a total of 7 schools who attended courses at the 10th, 11th, 37th and 21th grade levels were included in the sample. Sample selection was made on the basis of students attending weekend support and training courses.

The exam, the duration of which is determined as 40 minutes, is at the 6th grade level in Turkish, mathematics, science; Social studies, foreign language (English), religious culture and ethics to 7th grade level; 10th grade level Turkish language and literature, mathematics, history, philosophy and 11th grade Turkish language and literature, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, geography courses.

While a total of 16 different tests were prepared within the scope of the DYK Monitoring and Evaluation Joint Exam, the tests consisted of multiple choice questions.

On the other hand, while the students who take the DYK Common Exam online receive their results instantly at the end of the exam, individual report cards are sent to the students according to the exam results and feedback is provided, and activities are created to increase the effectiveness of the courses on the basis of real data.
