Children's Festival held in Sümer Park in Sümer Yenimahalle, hosted by Kocasinan Municipality; Kocasinan Mayor Ahmet Çolakbayrakdar, Kocasinan District Governor İlhan Abay, Kocasinan District Director of National Education Adnan Göllüoğlu, Kocasinan District Health Director Dr. Rabiye Özlem Ulutabanca, representatives of public institutions and organizations, municipal council members, headmen, citizens, students and their families attended.
Congratulating the holiday of all the world's children, Mayor Çolakbayrakdar emphasized that, as Kocasinan Municipality, they are involved in every aspect of life and said, “We are making great efforts so that all our children have the opportunity to live in a more beautiful Turkey and Kayseri. I remember with gratitude Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who allowed us to live freely in these lands and gifted this holiday to our children. We wish mercy to all our martyrs who passed away. There is no other nation or country in the world that has a holiday for its children. We are a nation and a state that is unique only to the Turkish Nation and the Republic of Türkiye, and is a holiday for our children. Our children are lucky at this point. All the children of the world are shouting love, peace and brotherhood under one roof to the whole world on the occasion of this holiday. That's why we kiss our children's eyes. As Kocasinan Municipality, our priorities are to enable our citizens to live more peacefully, to make their lives easier and to increase their welfare. But the motto of the new era is that we are involved in everything that will enable people to live happier lives in their environment. We are together with everyone from 7 to 70 and provide them with beauty, both during our national and spiritual holidays and with different events. I would like to thank everyone who contributed. Kocasinan District Governor İlhan Abay thanked Mayor Çolakbayrakdar for the services of Kocasinan Municipality and said, “First of all, I congratulate all our children on April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day. After the awards were given to the schools that ranked highest in the cultural and social fields among the schools in the district, the children had a pleasant time at the event, which included various shows such as folklore shows, music-choir, children's theater, Hacivat - Karagöz, clowns and play groups.
Nilüfer Municipality's April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day celebrations witnessed moments full of pride and enthusiasm.
