Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu, in a written statement about the national train, said that the domestic and national train, all of which had been successfully completed, was delivered to TCDD Taşımacılık AŞ last month, and that the national electric train set produced by TÜRASAŞ started its first flight between Adapazarı and Gebze on 27 May. and the production works of the new National Electric Train Sets and the National High Speed Train are continuing.

Noting that the citizens showed great interest in the national electric train, Karaismailoğlu emphasized that the Ada Express provides service at 11 stops and makes a difference with its comfort, and said, “The sets that have the TSI certificate, which is necessary for them to work in Turkey and European Union countries, are produced with the comfort of the passengers in the foreground. The first 160 sets of the 2km/h National Electric Train set are currently carrying passengers. While the factory tests of the 3rd train set are continuing, the assembly processes of the other sets are also continuing. The third train set is planned to be ready for passenger transportation in the third quarter of this year. It will soon serve our passengers by putting it on the rails," he said.

Karaismailoğlu pointed out that the design work of the 160 km / h National Electric High Speed Train set within the framework of the technical knowledge gained in the 225km / h National Electric Train set project has come to the end, and that 90 percent of the design process has been completed.
Stating that the first prototype assembly of the National High Speed Train Project is expected to start at the beginning of 2024, Karaismailoğlu said, "The National High Speed Train, which will have a train set with 8 vehicles, is aimed to be delivered to passenger transportation in 2025."
