The number of China-Europe freight train lines passing through the Alashankou border gate in China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region has reached 100. According to the information obtained from the Urumqi Group of China Railways, with the deepening of the Belt and Road construction, the railway construction in Xinjiang has been further strengthened as part of the China-Europe freight train project.

The number of China-Europe freight train lines passing through the Alashankou border gate was increased by 25 lines last year and by 2 lines this year, reaching a total of 100 lines.

Currently, the average daily number of China-Europe freight train services passing through the Alashankou border crossing has increased to 17, and the train line routes cover 24 countries, including Germany, Poland and Russia, as well as 19 regions within the country.

Xinjiang, located in the center of the Euro-Asian continent, is an important window of China to Western Asian countries with its neighbor to eight countries.
