A logistics center was established in Malatya, one of the provinces hit by the earthquake, by Kağıthane Municipality. Thanks to this center, Kağıthane Municipality provides support to Malatya Metropolitan Municipality and Yeşilyurt and Battalgazi district municipalities in terms of services.

Kağıthane Municipality undertook services such as garbage collection, cleaning of infrastructure sewers, debris transport and loading, hygiene and water needs of the debris areas, and the creation of the infrastructure of new containers and tent cities. In addition, the teams also carry out the electrical - plumbing and furniture assembly - repair works of the container cities. Along with 30 personnel on duty, 2 garbage compactors, 2 excavators, 4 backhoe loaders, 1 vacuum truck, 1 truck, 2 water pumps belonging to Kağıthane Municipality are working in the field without interruption.

Kağıthane Mayor Mevlüt Öztekin went to Malatya at the weekend and examined the works on site. President Öztekin, who also met with the local people one-on-one, instructed his team to meet the urgent needs.

Kağıthane Municipality started an aid mobilization after the earthquake disaster affecting 11 provinces; 52 construction machines, 20 generators, 4 mobile ovens, 40.221 blankets, 97 tents, 13 containers, 119.500 baby diapers and food, 12.228 food parcels, 113.186 water, 108.758 food products, 36.301 hygiene kits and 550 Afads. He stood by the earthquake victims in the earthquake area with his volunteer teams.
