Russia To Enter Railway Tender in Brazil

Russia Enteres Railway Tender in Brazil: Russia is preparing to enter the tender for the construction of 855 kilometers of railway that will connect Brazil's north-south line.

It is reported that Russia is interested in the railway project that will unite the Tocantins and Goias states of Brazil and is preparing for the tender. It was announced that the state-owned Russian RZD, one of the largest railway companies in the world, is in dialogue with the Brazilian government and has aspired to the project. It is on the agenda that the project costs 2 billion dollars and the loan will be provided through the newly created BRICS bank (New Development Bank).

BRICS bank started operations in Shanghai, China's metropolitan city, at the end of July. The bank, which was established to meet the infrastructure needs of fast developing countries, is expected to give the first loan to this project.
