The largest investment in Kütahya

The biggest investment in Kütahya: AK Party Kütahya Deputy Vural Kavuncu noted that Kütahya will now meet with electric trains and signaling system. Kavuncu said that the railway investments, which will reach 250 million liras, are the biggest investment made for the city.

In his statement, Kavuncu stated that the construction of the Eskişehir-Kütahya-Balıkesir signalization project, which will cost 250 million TL, is continuing and said, “Our investments continue in our railway transportation, which has been revived with the AK Party governments. Our railways, which have been neglected for years and accepted as the world's safest freight and human transportation, are literally jumping into an era. "We are buying electric locomotives instead of aging diesel locomotives running on our rails in our region."

1 ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVE 2 DIESEL LOCOMOTIVE
Regarding the automatic signaling of the railway lines between Eskişehir-Kütahya-Balıkesir and the studies on the operation of electric locomotives in the lines, Kavuncu said that yapılan The physical progress in Eskişehir Kütahya was completed to a great extent. The studies for the installation of the transformer center 6 between Eskişehir-Kütahya-Balıkesir and the works in Kütahya-Tavşanlı, Tavşanlı-Dursunbey and Dursunbey-Balıkesir stages continue. The total amount of this project carried out along the 330 km line is 110 million pounds. Since domestic production of electricity-dependent energy type by electric trains will be switched to electrical energy, a positive contribution will be made to the current account deficit by saving the money paid to oil.
With an electric locomotive, the 2 diesel locomotive can do its job.

THREE LESS COST
Electric train operation is 33 percent lower cost than diesel operation. When these works are completed, electric trains will be activated. Electric trains will start operating between Eskişehir and Tavşanlı for the first time in the coming months. First, the freight trains and then our passenger trains will change gradually, with the opening of the Balıkesir line completely, this line will also operate electrically. The construction of the Eskişehir-Kütahya-Balıkesir signaling project, which is another giant investment of 250 million TL, is also continuing. In this project, the project is about to be completed in Eskişehir Alayunt line section and signal tests have been carried out. In the Alayunt-Kütahya-Tavşanlı line section; excavation, concrete, cable channel, cable laying works continue. With the signalization investment, it will be possible to operate more trains than the freight and passenger trains according to the existing TMİ (Central Trains Administration) system and the line capacity will increase. Because in the TMİ system, trains will travel with the distance of the station, while the signaling will travel with more than one block distance between the same station. Since rail breaks and general negativities of the road will be reported to the train locomotives and train control centers instantly with the ERMTS security system in the signaling project, possible accidents will be prevented and navigation safety will be provided at the highest level. With the signalization system, passenger and freight trains will follow each other with a block distance, so the train delays will decrease to a minimum and the trains will be able to run on time. One of the most curious issues by our citizens is our Kütahya-Balıkesir line. Because this line is a line that connects Kütahya to Soma and İzmir for now. However, this route will also connect us to Bandırma and the ports, and from there to Europe by ferry, and we will have a line with a very high economic value. Rail change works are currently continuing at approximately 110 km between the Tavsanli-Balıkesir line Gökçedağ-Nusrat stations. Since this region is geographically mountainous and rugged, studies are also difficult. I can say that we follow the works closely, although the exact deadline cannot be given due to difficulties such as landslides. We will inform the public about developments. These railway projects are the investments of the highest value in our history for our Kütahya. "
