Manisa Mesir Trade Fair, which is part of the 484th International Manisa Mesir Paste Festival and will open its doors for the 30th time this year, was opened with a ceremony.

Stating that they will make Manisa a city of festivals and fairs, Mayor Durbay expressed his wishes for the good luck of the 30th Mesir Trade Fair this year. In his speech, Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ferdi Zeyrek said, “Fair organizing in our country started with the Izmir Economic Congress held under the leadership of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, after the declaration of our glorious Republic. In the light of our great leader's words: "No matter how great political and military victories are, if they are not supported by economic victories, they cannot survive and will fade away in a short time." Fair organization has developed in our country and has come to this day. Mesir Industry and Trade Fair, which has been continuing uninterruptedly for nearly 30 years in Manisa, brings together hundreds of companies and tradesmen with thousands of visitors every year. This year, we are hosting more than 200 companies in our city, from automotive to white goods, from furniture to home decoration. "I think this beautiful fair organization is of great importance for the promotion of our city as well as for its economy," he said.
President Ferdi Zeyrek stated that they are ready to do whatever they can to move the 484th Mesir Festival forward and said, “We started our International Manisa Mesir Paste Festival, which has been 484 years old, with enthusiasm as of yesterday, after a 4-year longing. I would like to state that we will do whatever we can to move this distinguished festival, where our enthusiasm will peak with the mesir scattering ceremony on Sunday, in every field. I believe that we will bring our festival, which has an important position in the promotion of both our festival and our city, to a position worthy of its glory, with the support of our fellow citizens. Manisa is the city of civilizations. It is a city with potential with its history, nature, agriculture, industry and tourism. We will work hard to turn every potential of this city into dynamism. "With these feelings, I wish the Mesir Industry and Trade Fair, which opened its doors with the slogan "Our Traditional Meeting", to be beneficial, and I would like to thank all the participants and those who contributed to the fair to come to this day, both on behalf of myself and the people of Manisa," he said.
Manisa Governor Enver Ünlü also made a speech and greeted the participants. Following the speeches, the doors of the fair were opened to visitors by cutting the ribbon with the participation of Manisa Governor Enver Ünlü, Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ferdi Zeyrek and protocol members. After the ribbon was cut, protocol members visited the companies participating in the fair and received information about the products and services from the company owners and officials.
