CSO Took the Stage for Denizli People

Denizli Metropolitan Municipality's April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day celebrations continue enthusiastically. In this context, the Presidential Symphony Orchestra (CSO) Film Music Concert was held at the Metropolitan Municipality Congress and Culture Center. Denizli Governor Ömer Faruk Coşkun, Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu, Metropolitan Municipality Council Deputy Chairman Ali Marım, guests and thousands of Denizli residents attended the event. While CSO, directed by Conductor Cemi'i Can Deliorman, fascinated the audience with its performances, where many movie soundtracks such as Star Wars, Gladiator, Harry Potter and Mission Impossible were performed, the guests applauded the artists for a long time at the end of the concert.

A holiday like no other in the world

Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Bülent Nuri Çavuşoğlu thanked the CSO artists and the audience for their participation and said, “With April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day, we will once again experience one of the unique holidays in the world. April 23 is that beautiful day when the Turkish Grand National Assembly was opened, on which our country started its journey towards democracy, freedom and a peaceful life in the future. "The fact that Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who gifted us this beautiful country, presents this holiday to our children has shown us once again what a great genius and foresight he really is," he said.

“Ataturk entrusted this country to young people”

Emphasizing that these special days were not inherited from them, but were entrusted to the children, President Çavuşoğlu continued his words as follows: “Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk did not entrust this country to mayors, presidents, ministers, governors, undersecretaries or others. Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk entrusted this country to young people. As representatives who believe in this motto, we wish to meet in Denizli, a Turkey where our young people live a peaceful life, do not worry about their future, and do not leave the beautiful geography of our country and dream of another geography.” After the speech, Governor Coşkun and Mayor Çavuşoğlu presented a plaque to Chief Cemi'i Can Deliorman in memory of the day.
