Minister of Internal Affairs Ali Yerlikaya announced the details of the news on his social media account.
Between June 1, 2023 and April 22, 2024, a total of 422 operations were carried out against the DAESH terrorist organization. 2 thousand 991 suspects were caught during the operations. 718 of them were arrested, and a judicial control order was given for 566 of them.
In his social media post, Yerlikaya said, “I want our dear nation to know that; We will not tolerate any terrorists. With the superior efforts of our security forces, we will continue our fight with determination for the peace, unity and solidarity of our nation until the last terrorist is neutralized. I congratulate our heroic police officers who carried out the operations. May God not let stones touch your feet. Our nation's prayers are with you." he said.
