Stating that they started the season quickly, Mayor Çolakbayrakdar emphasized that they are increasing their standards day by day to be a 'self-sufficient municipality' and that they are one of the few municipalities in Turkey in this regard.
Underlining that they made a great contribution to the country's economy by supporting domestic and national production with the projects put into service, Mayor Çolakbayrakdar said, “We have become a self-sufficient municipality with the investments we have made. We produce asphalt with our asphalt plant, which we launched in 2017 and has the highest public capacity in Kayseri on an area of 214 thousand square meters, producing world-class asphalt with its technological structure. We offer faster, more economical and higher quality production with our environmentally friendly asphalt production capacity of 240 tons per hour. We also launched the laboratory in 2020 to measure the quality of asphalt production at world standards. We produce the material required for asphalt with the Aggregate Production Facility that we put into service last year, and we saved a lot of money with the 210 thousand tons of gravel material we produced in the quarry. We carry out milling (end-of-life asphalt removal) works with the asphalt milling vehicle, which is the first and only in Kayseri. In addition to the environmentally friendly feature of the vehicle, we make a great contribution to the recycling of end-of-life asphalt. We brought a total of 138 new vehicles to the future of Kocasinan, 173 of which are construction machines, which will meet the requirements of the conditions of the age, have different features, are environmentally friendly and are 322% domestic production, and thus we have become able to do all our work ourselves. Especially in Kocasinan, we have traveled 2 km so far and we aim to travel 347 km more, making a total of 100 km. We will also implement the Solar Energy Power Plant Project. We will build another new facility with a capacity of 6 MW, built on an area of XNUMX thousand square meters. Cities that stand out strategically around the world with their own resources will manage their own destinies in the future. In this sense, the projects we carry out for our country and city are a great investment and profit. "We are one of the few municipalities in Turkey that provide such services on a district municipality scale with their own means," he said.
