Osmangazi Historical City Race, which is eagerly awaited by local and foreign athletes every year, took place with a wide participation this year. The race started at 10.30 in the morning from the Saltanat Kapısı in Tophane Square with the start of Osmangazi Deputy Mayor Feyyaz Alptuğ Memişoğulları, and the athletes competed in Tophane, Muradiye, Çekirge, Kükürtlü, Merinos, Altıparmak, 15 July Square, Haşim İşcan, Gökdere, Irgandı Bridge, Kayhan put up a great struggle to complete the 15-kilometer track, which follows the Grand Bazaar and Kavaklı Street and ends at Pınarbaşı Square.

At the end of the race, where the athletes worked hard to come first, Kenyan athlete James Kipkogei Kipkoech reached the happy ending in the men's category with a time of 47:02.89. Turkish athlete Hüseyin Can came in second with a time of 48:55.97, while Ethiopian Fetene Alemu Regasa came in third with a time of 46:43.17.

In women, Kenyan athlete Elida Jelimo Korir came first with a time of 53:45.60, Turkish athlete Gamze Altuntaş came second with a time of 01:00.25, and Turkish athlete Remziye Erman came third with a time of 01:02.05.
