The Air Conditioning Industry Exporters' Association (ISIB) organized a national participation organization in the Erbil Building Fair, which was held in the city of Erbil, a part of the Iraqi Kurdish Regional Government, between 23-26 May.

10 companies from Turkey, together with ISIB, participated in the National Participation organization. Members of the Board of Directors Kerem Ünlü and Murat Erenoğlu attended the fair, representing the Air Conditioning Industry Exporters' Association.

While the fairs and stands were visited by the Prime Minister of IBKY, Mesut Barzani, the Minister of Investments of the Iraqi Kurdish Regional Government Dr. Mohammed Shukri and IBKY Regional Minister for Organizations Aydın Maruf visited the ISIB stand and met with the delegation's managers.

In addition, Turkish Republic Erbil Consul General Memet Mevlüt Yakut and Turkish Republic Commercial Attachés Kerem Tuzlu and Kemal Bahadır also visited our stand and participating member companies and exchanged views on the fair and the region.

Expressing that the National Participation organization was successful, ISIB Board Member Kerem Ünlü said about the fair: “Iraq is a strategic country for Turkey with its 2,5 billion dollar air conditioning industry import. As the Turkish Air Conditioning industry, we are currently in the 12rd position in the country with an export size of close to 3 percent. Our geographical proximity and cultural similarities provide a serious advantage for our industry in the country. We attended the fair with 10 companies. All of the companies we attended were very satisfied with the fair. As ISIB, we were happy to host the companies of our sector at our stand and to host their meetings during the fair.”
