Ankara Metropolitan Municipality FOMGET Youth and Sports Club Women's Football Team, which defeated Fenerbahçe Petrol Ofisi Women's Football Team and became the champion of Turkcell Women's Football Super League, returned to the capital. Successful athletes, who were greeted with enthusiasm at Esenboğa Airport, took the championship trophy to Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş.

In the play-off final of Turkcell Women's Football Super League 2022-2023 season, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality FOMGET Youth and Sports Club (GSK) Women's Football Team and Fenerbahçe Petrol Ofisi faced off. ABB FOMGET GSK Women's Football Team won the match played at İzmir Alsancak Mustafa Denizli Stadium with a score of 4-2 and brought the championship trophy to the Capital.

Successful athletes of FOMGET, champion of Turkcell Women's Super League 2022-2023 season, brought the trophy to Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş as soon as they set foot in the Capital.
Welcoming successful athletes, technical committee and club managers in the Presidency, Yavaş congratulated the champion team by saying, “You have made us proud”. Slow said, “Congratulations to all of you, you have made us proud. You worked hard. We wish you continued success, we are sure that you will succeed. On behalf of Ankara, we thank you very much. Congratulations to all of you… Give my regards to your families. May God grant you according to your heart."
ENJOYABLE WELCOME AT ESENBOGA AIRPORT
ABB FOMGET GSK Women's Football Team, which achieved a historical success in the 100th anniversary of the Republic; At Esenboğa Airport, club managers, the families of the athletes and the residents of Başkent were enthusiastically welcomed.
Stating that they are proud of the athletes, Club President Yalçın Demirkol said:
“In the 100th anniversary of our Republic, we brought the trophy to Ankara as the champion of the Women's Football Super League. We promised this to our President Mansur Yavaş at the beginning of the season. Our President, Mansur, gave great support to our club during this process. On behalf of the management, we express our gratitude to him. Our athletes showed a great example of struggle. Especially in the final match, they made a great comeback and we won the cup. I believe we will achieve success both in the league and in the Champions League next year by keeping the same squad with a few reinforcements.”
Team Captain Selda Akgöz said, “We already made this promise during our visit to the President of Mansur a week ago. We did our best and in the 100th anniversary of the Republic, the Super League Cup is in Ankara. We are very happy”, while Sporting Director Political Asgarov said, “I want to thank my team. My players made maximum effort and brought this championship to Ankara. There was a promise they made, they kept that promise," he said.
