The bridge and beam assembly of the pedestrian overpass, which is under construction in Derince 100 Evler locality of the D-60 Highway, was carried out by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality. The work, which started at midnight, was completed in the early hours of the morning. During the study, D-100 was closed to traffic and security measures were taken.
EASY ACCESS TO DERINCE HOSPITAL
The pedestrian overpass connecting Derince Yavuz Sultan District and İbni Sina District Kaşgal location is on a frequently used route since it is close to Derince Training and Research Hospital. The new overpass with disabled elevator, which will provide great convenience for many citizens such as the elderly, sick and disabled, to reach the hospital, is manufactured in front of the Old Provincial Police Department with a length of 64,50 meters, a width of 3,30 meters, three spans, with an elevator and steel. After the works, citizens will have the comfort of a bridge with an elevator.
