It looks like we'll be seeing the Upshaw family on our screens sooner than we thought because Netflix has announced the official release date for episode 4 of The Upshaws and new episodes will air this August!
Since the third episode was released in February of this year, we thought we wouldn't see any new episodes until 2024. From where? We've only seen one episode aired each year since the show came out. We thought it was some kind of release pattern, but apparently that's not the case.
We are not complaining though! We can't wait to see how the story continues in Episode 4 of The Upshaws. Episode 3 ends on a shocking note, with Regina moving out of the house and staying with Lucretia for a while due to her struggles with depression. Bennie also learns that Kelvin wants to move in with him and his family. There's a lot to cover in episode 4 and we can't wait to watch the new episodes in a row in one sitting.

You can expect new episodes to arrive on your Netflix account at 3:00 am PT/3. :00 am ET, August 17. The total number of episodes for episode 4 is currently unknown, but we're probably looking at eight more episodes like episodes 2 and 3. When we get the official episode number, be sure to share it immediately.

According to the Netflix press release, you can expect the return of all members of the Upshaw family. This includes Mike Epps (Bennie Upshaw), Kim Fields (Regina Upshaw), Diamond Lyons (Kelvin Upshaw), Khali Daniya-Renee Spraggins (Aaliyah Upshaw), Jermelle Simon (Bernard Upshaw) and Journey Christine (Maya Upshaw). Wanda Sykes (Lucretia Turner) and Gabrielle Dennis (Tasha Lewis) will also return. We can probably expect some new characters to be introduced in episode 4.
