Mayor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality Uğur İbrahim Altay examined the construction of the New Industrial Site, which will be brought to Konya for the transportation of Old Industry and Karatay Industry by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, TOKİ and Konya Metropolitan Municipality. President Altay said, “The size of the business is very big here. We are building a city consisting of 2.690 shops and 134 commercial centers. The planned process is the completion of 3 phases by the end of the year. Hopefully, the remaining second phase will be completed in the spring of 2024 and to ensure that our tradesmen will serve Konya completely in these shops in the spring of 2024. I would like to thank our Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Mr. Murat Kurum, and TOKİ President Mr. Ömer Bulut for their support for this project that will add value to Konya.”
Konya Metropolitan Municipality made the land transfer; Konya New Motor Industrial Site, which is being built by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, is rising rapidly.
Mayor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality Uğur İbrahim Altay made inspections in Konya New Industrial Site, which is under construction in Aslım region for the relocation of Old Industry and Karatay Industry.
Providing information about the latest situation of the construction, Mayor Altay stated that as the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, TOKİ and Konya Metropolitan Municipality, they are working intensively for one of the biggest urban transformations of Turkey.

Underlining that they built Turkey's first Zero Waste Industrial Site with the cooperation of the Ministry, TOKİ and Konya Metropolitan Municipality, Mayor Altay said, “We are also realizing the first of many things in this industrial site, from the production of its own energy to the recycling of rain water and the recycling of wastes.
