The Balkan Walking Championship, with participation from eight countries, will be held on Sunday, April 9 at Antalya Konyaaltı Beach.
The 22nd Balkan Walking Championship will be held on 9 April in Antalya Konyaalti district, Akdeniz Boulevard. Around 70 athletes from Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania, Serbia, Ukraine, Greece, Turkey and Slovakia will participate in the competition.
The competitions will be held at U18 Women's 5km, U18 Men's 10km, U20 Women's-Men's 10km, Senior Women's-Men's 20km and Big Women's-Men's 35km distances.
Greek athlete Antigoni Ntrismpioti, who won two gold medals in the 20km and 35km at the European Championship last year, and Meryem Bekmez, our U23 European Champion, and Mazlum Demir and Hayrettin Yıldız, who won gold and bronze medals in the World U20 Championship last year, will compete in the championship.
