The telescopic lighting tower, produced in the Ministry of National Education, Izmit Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, is used in search and rescue works in the earthquake zone. The telescopic lighting tower, produced by the design team of Izmit Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, one of the R&D schools of the Ministry of National Education, was sent to Hatay after the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş. High school students contributed to the search and rescue efforts in the earthquake zone with the telescopic lighting tower they produced.
Considering that the generators used in the search and rescue operations carried out at night in the region make it difficult for the rescue team by causing excessive noise, the telescopic lighting tower's batteries are filled with solar energy during the day and silent during use at night helped the teams.
The device, which can also be used as a mobile projector with its extendable cables, was used for the first time in the debris removal works in Hatay.
