In addition to the golden strawberry, which has gained popularity recently and is in great demand from the citizens, vegetables are also produced from the ancestral seeds in the greenhouse.
With the feverish work carried out by the agricultural engineers and gardeners working in the greenhouse; Sodium, begonia, vine, sword flower, rose, gypsy salwar, aloe vera, daisy, primrose, beauty leaf, telegraph flower, chrysanthemum, cyclamen, Kalanchoe, ice flower, geranium flowers are produced. There are also indoor plants such as bougainvillea, kumquat, lemon, olive, cream, benjamin and parlor pine. In the greenhouse, where vegetable production is also carried out, tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplants, peppers, strawberries and golden strawberries are also grown. Reproduction of rose, geranium, lavender and golden strawberry plants is done.
Saying that they produce long-lasting and seasonal plants in the greenhouse, Keçiören Mayor Turgut Altınok said, “We reproduce our ancestral seeds in our greenhouse. In addition, we produce by multiplying our golden strawberries with steel. We also continue to produce flower and vegetable seedlings in our greenhouse. Thanks to our smart greenhouse, we have greatly reduced the plant costs of our municipality and saved money.” said.
