Çubuklu Car Ferry Pier Social Life Center was put into service with a ceremony attended by İBB Secretary General Can Akın Çağlar and İBB Subsidiary Şehir Hatları AŞ General Manager Sinem Dedetaş.
Speaking at the ceremony, İBB Secretary General Can Akın Çağlar stated that they have brought together the services that have been carried out for 150 years with the people of Istanbul, one by one, with 150 Projects in 3 Days, and said, “We allocated about half of our 2022 budget to investments. In this context, we attach great importance to transportation investments and investments to increase the structure of the sea in public transportation. In this context, we strive to touch the social, cultural and artistic life of Istanbul as well. After Moda Pier, we are happy to bring a social space to Beykoz today as well,” he said.

Located next to the Beykoz Çubuklu Ferry Pier, Çubuklu Car Ferry Pier Social Life Center, which is located at the seaside and has a garden, was put into service by cutting the ribbon after the speeches. Cubuklu Car Ferry Pier building, which is idle; It has turned into a social area with an education and meeting hall, multiple study areas, Yeşil İstanbul Natural Sciences Library, and Ferry Cafe.
The building, which gathers people working in different business areas from a sectoral perspective, provides new business connections thanks to the interaction experienced, and offers an elegant working environment that offers a happy and creative office concept, has become a multifunctional and beautiful space.
AT THE SERVICE OF ALL ISTANBUL
With the project; The pier also functioned as a public space, a residence and activity area was created for all citizens except those who benefit from the transportation service. While public spaces turned into quality service areas, it also increased the interaction of sea transportation. A social life center was provided on the coastline in Beykoz region, where free cultural and social activities will be organized, where one can have a pleasant time and work.
