Bursa Metropolitan Municipality made Bursa residents experience the beauties of the 80s and 90s, which we remember with longing by saying 'Where are those old days', with the 'Nostalgia Festival' held in Mudanya. The 'Retrobus' group, which took the stage as part of the festival, gave an unforgettable evening to thousands of people who filled the area.
Continuing its efforts to make Bursa a more livable city, the Metropolitan Municipality also carries out activities that will add color to the social and cultural life of the city. Realizing many different projects from concerts to festivals, from sports competitions to entertainment areas, the Metropolitan Municipality organized the 'Nostalgia Festival' this time, giving the people of Bursa the enthusiasm of the 80s and 90s. As part of the festival held in front of the Mudanya Armistice House Museum, the unforgettable clothes, food and drinks of the 80s and 90s periods were exhibited, while the participants were taken on a journey through time with the music of that period. People of all ages from 7 to 70, who say 'Where are those old days', attended the festival, and Bursa residents wearing bandanas quenched their longing for the past by eating roasted chickpea powder and drinking fruit sodas.
Citizens who passed the festival area on Mudanya Beach said that thanks to the event, they remembered the past memories and commemorated the period with longing. Bursa residents, who stated that the event was very successful and they enjoyed it, thanked Bursa Metropolitan Municipality for the organization.
While the band 'Retrobüs' took the stage as part of the festival, thousands of people filled the area and enjoyed the music that marked the era, with the scent of Yeşilçam. The 'Retrobüs' group, which put on a great stage performance wearing the clothes of that period, gave the people of Bursa an unforgettable evening. In the concert, where enthusiasm reached its peak, the people of Bursa also spent a pleasant day accompanying Yeşilçam music in unison. At the end of the concert, the band's performance was applauded by thousands of people who filled the space. The 'Retrobus' team thanked the people of Bursa for their intense participation and thanked the Metropolitan Municipality for the organization.
Speaking at the end of the concert, Deputy Mayor of Metropolitan Municipality Murat Demir stated that they were happy that the Nostalgia Festival, which was held on the renewed Mudanya coast, attracted great attention. Expressing that they aim to take the people of Bursa on a musical journey with the festival, Demir said, “We aimed to revive the culture of life in Bursa of the period and to bring the music of the period together with the people of Bursa with a theatrical stage show. We brought together many elements from the Retrobus concert to the photography exhibition, from street plays to Yeşilçam-scented stage performances, through the festival. I would like to thank those who contributed to the organization and all the people of Bursa who participated in it”.
