Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu stated that in the last 10 years, traffic accidents that occurred during the 9-10-day holidays have decreased by 29 percent and fatal accidents by 55 percent.
Minister Soylu made the following statements in his post on his Twitter account:
“From Bolu during the holiday; 801 thousand vehicles passed to Anatolia and 760 thousand vehicles to Istanbul In the last 10 years, compared to 9-10 days of holidays; Accident -29% Fatal accident -55% Loss of life -52% Injured -32% Let's follow the traffic rules on the last day of the Eid holiday too.”
