Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş announced that the future of ANKAPARK, which was transferred to ABB with a court decision on July 3, 18, after 2022 years of legal struggle, will be determined by the people of the Capital City at the press conference he held.

Keeping this promise, Yavaş said, “One of the Capitalists, in his post on his social media accounts,forms.ankara.bel.tr/ankapark” and asked them to decide on the future of ANKAPARK by filling out the proposal form. Yavaş said, “For the 801 million dollars invested in ANKAPARK, the taxes paid by the people of Ankara from tooth to toe and the clean sweat of their brows have the right. That is why we will be transparent, we will be accountable, and we will decide the future of ANKAPARK together.”

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, which continues to set an example for other municipalities with its participatory democracy practices by adopting the principle of transparency in city management, has also activated "common mind" for ANKAPARK.

As Ankara residents, how would you like the ANKAPARK area to be evaluated?” shared.

“What do you think ANKAPARK should be?” Stating that they left the decision about the future of ANKAPARK to the people of Capital by filling out the form with the question, Yavaş said, “The taxes paid by the people of Ankara, from tooth to nail, in the 801 million dollars invested in ANKAPARK, have the right to clean sweat. Mansur failed. it is wrong to ask the public with a survey..the park should be transferred to the ministry of truzim. .. instead of asking the public, we should ask the experts, the authorities, the state.
