Invoice Order from CHP to All Municipalities

Following the statements of CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu yesterday, an official letter was sent to all CHP mayors. In the letter sent by CHP Deputy Chairman Seyit Torun, municipalities were asked to initiate new projects to support the bills of families with incomes below the minimum wage and to expand solidarity practices such as “Pending Invoice”.

In the letter sent to all CHP mayors with the signature of Seyit Torun, Deputy Chairman for Local Administrations, the following statements were included:

CITIZENS CANNOT SEE THE FRONT

“The wrong policies of the political power have left our country in a deep economic depression. Due to the deep poverty that has affected most of our country, our citizens have become unable to see their way. Especially the recent hikes in electricity prices have caused new and heavy grievances for our citizens. Unfortunately, our families with incomes below the minimum wage are unable to pay their high electricity bills.

THE BLACK WINTER FUND TAKES BREATH

The support given by our municipalities to those in need within the scope of the “Mid Winter Fund” gives our people a little bit of a sigh of relief. In addition, community solidarity was organized with projects such as “Pending Invoice” implemented by our municipalities, and hundreds of thousands of bills of our families who were struggling with their livelihoods were paid in this way.

INVOICE SUPPORT WILL BE GIVEN

In this context; As explained by our Honorable Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu; It is of great importance that our municipalities expand their “Pending Bill” projects to include families with incomes below the minimum wage, and extend social assistance to support electricity and natural gas costs.”

NEW APPLICATIONS WILL BE LAUNCHED

In the article, attention was paid to the importance of practices that will enable all municipalities, citizens with the means, to support those in need, and asked municipalities to focus on projects that will help reduce the burden of electricity and natural gas costs on those in need. At the end of the article, Torun thanked the mayors who stood by the citizens despite all the pressures and obstacles and wished them success in their work.
