The 2021 Techno 293 Plus World Championship and the 2021 Techno WindFoil 130 Gold Cup were held in Bodrum, hosted by the Era Sailing Club under the main sponsorship of Bitci.com, with the support of the Turkish Sailing Federation, the International Windsurfing Association and the World Sailing Federation.
Representing our country in the women's category, Merve Vatan came in second in the world. In the Young Men category, Ozan Türker came third in the World.

At the award ceremony, Bodrum Governor Bekir Yılmaz and International Surfing Union Secretary General Piotr Oleksiak gave speeches. In the women's category, Daria Bannaya from Russia became the World Champion, while our National Athlete Merve Vatan (İçdaş Sports Club) became the Second in the World and Louisa Schmidt (Emr Windsurf and Sailing Club) from the Netherlands became the Third in the World.
In the Young Men's category, Davide Antognoli from Italy became the champion, while Giorgio Falqui Cao from Italy took the second place and our National Athlete Ozan Türker (Emr Windsurf and Sailing Club) took the third place.
