Kayseri's rail system fleet is growing: Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality has made the purchase contract of the 30 rail system vehicle first came to Kayseri. Mayor Mustafa Çelik, Deputy Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications and General Director of TCDD visited the rail system vehicle. The first of the 30 rail system vehicle, which was purchased by the Metropolitan Municipality, arrived at the facilities of Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Inc. in the Organized Industrial Zone. Mayor Mustafa Çelik, Deputy Undersecretary of Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Suat Hayri Aka, General Director of TCDD Ömer Yıldız, Chairman of Kayseri Chamber of Commerce Mahmut Hiçyılmaz and Melikgazi Mayor Memduh Büyükkılıç also participated in the inspection.
Stating that they have received the first of the 30 rail system vehicles that will come to Kayseri, President Mustafa Çelik said, “Our new vehicle, which is completely domestic production, has entered our rails. These tools are technically called zero. It will be subjected to tests for a month. Trial runs will be made on the rails. After May, we will continue to receive our new vehicles, two by three each month. As you can see, we buy a very stylish, modern and highly technological transportation vehicle. The entire design of this vehicle has been made by our Turkish engineers. Another factor that makes us happy is that the bogies, the part of the vehicles that run on the rails, are produced in a company in our Kayseri Free Zone ”.
Wishing the new tools to be beneficial to Kayseri, President Steel, new rail system vehicles will further relax the public transportation, he said.
