2007 TENDER CANCELED
A tender was held for the first time in 2007 for the port, which was included in the privatization scope by the Privatization Administration through the method of "granting the operating rights". As a result of the auction, the highest bid came from Türkerler Joint Venture Group with 195 million 250 thousand dollars. However, the Council of State canceled this privatization, taking into account the zoning plan contradictions regarding the Derince Port.
