“April 23, 1920, an important turning point in our history, marked the awakening of the great Turkish Nation, whose existence was threatened; It symbolizes the day when he breaks the chains of captivity and takes control of his own destiny. One of the most important factors in winning the War of Independence was taking decisive and historical steps in the preparation phase as the common voice of the nation. Great Ataturk saw that the liberation movement he wanted to initiate could only be achieved together with the nation. The Grand National Assembly of Turkey, which the Great Leader Atatürk described as "the essence of the centuries-long search for the Turkish Nation and a living example of its consciousness of governing itself", was formed within the Turkish National Independence Movement and succeeded by leading the War of Independence with the courageous decisions it took. has delivered. The Grand National Assembly of Turkey, which protected the existence of our Nation with the War of Independence and ensured its sovereignty with the Treaty of Lausanne, has a privileged place among the world's parliaments in this respect. The Grand National Assembly of Turkey is the fundamental institution of our democratic regime, formed by the principle of "Sovereignty belongs unconditionally to the nation", and is a supreme body where national sovereignty is embodied and the will of the Nation is represented. The Republic, our most valuable asset, is a great achievement achieved by a newly established state as a result of a unique war undertaken to gain national independence. This new form of government, in which sovereignty unconditionally belongs to the nation, has provided the opportunity to become an individual to everyone who is connected to the Republic of Turkey with the bond of citizenship and has also given them the responsibility of doing so. We owe the Republic of Turkey's great achievements with its breakthroughs to its establishment in a dynamic structure that prioritizes national sovereignty and enables democratic initiatives.

Children are the future of a society. Every society has to take care of its children and ensure that they grow up in the best possible way.

Childhood is the most beautiful period of life. No negativity or problem should reduce children's joy of life. Children are flowers that grow with love. Smiling faces, eyes shining with joy, warm hearts that always need love, actually reflect the common hope of the society.

One of our main goals is for our children, the most valuable asset of our nation, to grow up in a beautiful environment and to continue their lives without any trouble or difficulty. We must raise our children and young people, who will lead society as adults of the future, as people who have adopted the democratic social structure as a way of life, who respect the law, who obey the rules, who are open to innovations, who are away from irrationality and bigotry, who have a broad perspective, who have free thoughts, and who have high problem-solving skills. Children are our nation's most valuable asset and future. While the Great Atatürk gifted you April 23, the day the Grand National Assembly of Turkey was opened, as a holiday, he knew about the love of homeland and diligence of Turkish children and trusted you. You do not disappoint this trust with the efforts you make to establish a better world. We are proud of you. We all strive to leave a stronger, more beautiful and more livable Turkey to you, the adults of tomorrow.
