Gendarmerie commandos set up the tent of a person with three disabled children who could not enter their home after the 5,6 magnitude earthquake that occurred yesterday in Sulusaray district of Tokat.
Mustafa Demirsoy, who has 3 mentally and physically disabled children, through a relative, requested help from Sulusaray District Gendarmerie Command in setting up a tent in their garden because they could not enter their homes due to the earthquake.
Thereupon, commandos from the Gendarmerie Command came to the house where the family lived in Fatih District. The commandos set up the tent and delivered it to the family in about 20 minutes.
Gendarmerie personnel also gave the food they brought to the family.
Explaining that his relative went to the District Gendarmerie Command and asked for help, Demirsoy said, “They arrived in about 20 minutes. This cannot be measured in financial terms. Its spiritual dimension is very high. May God not harm our state. There is also damage in our villages. I thought it wasn't just me. The team is well prepared. God bless you. This happiness is indescribable.” he said.
