According to the statement made by the Ministry of National Defense, a ceremony was held at the First Turkish Grand National Assembly in Ankara Ulus on the occasion of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day and the 104th anniversary of the opening of the Turkish Grand National Assembly.
Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler attended the ceremony chaired by the Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, Numan Kurtulmuş, along with the Chief of General Staff, General Metin Gürak, the Commander of the Naval Forces, Admiral Ercüment Tatlıoğlu, the Commander of the Land Forces, General Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu, and the Commander of the Air Forces, General Ziya Cemal Kadıoğlu.
