Private Sector Teachers' Union Izmir Representation announced the problems experienced by teachers at TED Aliağa College. If the 7-article compromise text is not implemented, teachers will protest at TED Aliağa College, which is affiliated with the Turkish Education Association (TED).

After the problems experienced by the teachers at TED Aliağa College became a hot topic on social media, it was learned that the parents of the students studying at the college were also disturbed. Private Sector Teachers' Union, which has undertaken important work to demand the rights of private sector teachers and created awareness in this field, reported that teachers at TED Aliağa College receive salaries around the minimum wage.

We are calling out to the TED Aliağa College Foundation Board of Directors on behalf of the teachers we have not heard of or seen, who are employed at around the minimum wage despite continuing their duties with all their heart and soul for years.
In the 2024-2025 Academic Year contracts, a base salary adjustment will be made so that their monthly salaries are equal to those of teachers working in the public sector, and only monthly salaries of 2024 TL above the minimum wage, which covers the period starting from January 2024 until the end of August 1500, that is, until the end of the contract period, will be included in the base salary. to be updated according to
Determining the seniority difference of teachers according to the years they have worked in the profession and making them equal to teachers working in the public sector.
When public sector teachers are given a raise, TED Aliağa College teachers should also receive the same raise.
Every time there is a raise, their contracts are updated by writing down the increase.


EK course fees should be increased in line with inflation.
On-call wages should be paid equally with public teachers.
Payment of overtime fees for ŞÖK and parent meetings held outside working hours, and additional lesson fees for one-on-one studies.
Bank promotion fees should be given to teachers and all staff without interruption.
They demanded that a protocol agreement be signed with the union on behalf of the teachers.
If you remain silent to all these demands and put pressure on teachers, all necessary union actions will be evaluated.
