The premiere (first play) of The Chronicles of Narnia, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, was held by Konya Metropolitan Municipality City Theatre.
Konya theater lovers showed great interest in the play staged at Selçuklu Congress Center. In the play adapted from the book of Irish writer Clive Staples Lewis; Four siblings named Suzan, Peter, Edmund and Lucy, who were sent to the castle of the famous Professor Kirke to be safe with the start of the Second World War, go to the Forests of Narnia with the magic cupboard they discovered in a room of the castle, where Edmund, the king of the forests, is captured by the evil-hearted witch. It tells the story of his brothers trying to save him with the help of the lion.
Theater lovers who shared their opinions about the play said; He stated that they liked the play, decor and costumes very much, and thanked Konya Metropolitan Municipality City Theater for their efforts.
The play called The Chronicles of Narnia, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, consisting of 2 acts and 120 minutes, will be staged again at the Selçuklu Congress Center on Saturday, April 20 at 16.00 and on Monday, April 22 at 19.00.
