Kyrgyzstan Ambassador to Ankara Ruslan Kazakbaev paid a courtesy visit to Kayseri Chamber of Commerce. Ambassador Kazakbaev was welcomed by KTO Vice President Hasan Köksal and Board members Erol Sırıklı, Şevket Uyar and Latif Başkal. During the visit to the Presidential Office; Stating that Kayseri is an ancient city with 6 thousand years of history, 4 thousand 500 years of commercial history and centuries-old industrial production capability, Vice President Köksal said, “Kayseri is known as the capital of commerce. We are pleased to host the Ambassador of our friendly and brotherly country, Kyrgyzstan, at the Kayseri Chamber of Commerce, which has a history of 128 years and nearly 30 thousand members. Our religion, language and culture are one. “We must also strengthen our commercial relations to strengthen our brotherhood.” said.
Providing information about export figures with Kyrgyzstan, Köksal continued his words as follows.
“We have a trade volume of nearly 14 million dollars between Kayseri and Kyrgyzstan. 36 members registered in our chamber do business with Kyrgyzstan. We need to increase these numbers to higher levels. These visits are to take our trade to higher levels with a win-win logic. We see it that way. Kyrgyzstan is our friendly and brotherly country. We must reinforce this with mutual visits. Although we, as Kayseri, are known as the city of commerce and industry, we also have a rich treasure in terms of tourism. We export to 186 countries. We exported nearly 2023 billion in 4. We consider such visits important to increase our export figures to even higher levels. There are great opportunities for Turkish business people in Kyrgyzstan. Many business people sell their products to Russia via Kyrgyzstan. We have an agreement with the European Union. 6 thousand goods are sold duty-free. Turkish business people invest in many sectors such as gold mines and shopping malls. I invite our business people from Kayseri to Kyrgyzstan to invest and develop our commercial and economic relations. “There is no need for a visa or passport.”
