KOCAELI (IGFA) – The R&D Unit of Izmit Municipality Strategy Development Directorate will organize a DiscoverEU seminar where young people who want to travel to Europe will be informed. 18-year-old young people discover the diversity of Europe and learn about its cultural heritage and history; The seminar, which is an activity of the Erasmus program that offers the opportunity to establish relationships with people from all over the continent, will take place today at 16.30 at Talk&Smile Cafe.
THEY WILL DISCOVER EUROPE WITH THE TRAVEL CARD
Young people who are selected for the DiscoverEU program, which young people born between 1 July 2005 and 30 June 2006 can apply for, are given a travel card. Thanks to this card, young people can travel by rail. At the same time, young people are given the European Youth Card (EYCA), which provides discounts for culture, education, nature, sports, local transportation, accommodation, food and similar visits and activities.
