The murder suspects of Resul Kaplan, who was killed and thrown on the roadside in Düzce in 2023, were caught in an operation carried out on Wednesday.
5 thousand hours of camera recordings brought to the Police Department were meticulously monitored by the Public Order Branch teams.
The persons involved in the incident were identified one by one. Physical surveillance was initiated after the individuals who first beat Kaplan, then put him in the car and threw him on the side of the road were identified from the camera records.
Ö.Y., who was found to have beaten Kaplan and caused his death. He was arrested, AK, AKAT IA and Ş.T were banned from going abroad.
UY and F.Ş were released on condition of judicial control.
