Consistent Fight from the World Champion Pilot!

The second Misano E-Prix held in Italy was full of excitement on both days.

While DS Automobies' champion driver Jean-Éric Vergne scored points for the sixth time in seven races, Stoffel Vandoorne retired from the race due to a battery problem.

From the opening rounds the bests changed almost constantly. JEV took the lead at one point but fell back a few places just before the safety car came out. Jean-Éric Vergne, who finished seventh on Sunday after taking over sixth place on Saturday, left Misano with a total of 14 points.

The points achieved by the experienced pilot in six of the 7 races prove his consistency. Two-time Formula E champion JEV is in sixth place in the provisional drivers' standings with not even half of the season completed and everything is going well.

After his high performance in qualifying, the Belgian driver became one of the victims of some contacts in the middle of the group. Vandoorne lost his chance for a successful result when he had to pit to repair the damaged bodywork of his car.

At the end of the race, a battery problem that also affected all other drivers forced Stoffel to stop at the side of the track.

Completing the two races in Misano with three points, DS Automobiles continues to add points to its tally.

Next up is the legendary Monaco street circuit, which will host the eighth round of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship on April 27.
