Within the scope of the Köseköy Corridor Alikahya Stadium connection road project carried out by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, asphalting works have started in front of the Hyundai Factory. While the bituminous and binder asphalt laying is completed, the final layer wear asphalt laying will begin after the asphalt settles on the ground. Bituminous foundation asphalting works are also being carried out under the Vatan Street TEM bridge. Work on the Köseköy Corridor Alikahya Stadium connection road, which is 95 percent completed, continues at full speed.
The width of the road connecting to the TEM Highway from the D-100 Highway will be 30 meters, transportation on the road will be 2×2 round trip and a bicycle path will also be built on the road. Prefabricated prestressed girder bridges at 100 different points: 1 on D-1, 1 on TEM Highway and 3 on Yirim Dere; A steel pedestrian overpass is being built on D-100. Within the scope of the project, 13 km long road and drainage works, paving and lighting works will be carried out, including connection roads. 13 thousand tons of asphalting will be done for the new road that will be 71 kilometers long.
