Bilal Yıldız started his career as a Tax Inspector at the Ministry of Finance in 2007. Later, he took on various duties at the Prime Ministry Inspection Board. He has also undertaken international duties such as Member of the Turkish Delegation to the Council of Europe GRECO and Open Government Partnership Turkish Government Liaison Officer.

Bilal Yıldız continued his career in the private sector as the Group Manager Responsible for Finance and Investments at HAVELSAN A.Ş., one of the defense industry companies, and then worked as the Deputy General Manager Responsible for Finance - CFO at Tarım Kredi Birlik A.Ş. Kardemir A.Ş. He served as Head of Internal Audit for approximately one and a half years. He also worked as a short-term consultant for the World Bank International Finance Corporation (IFC).
