Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality will continue its practice of paying 50 percent of the water bills to be accrued to individuals and businesses engaged in animal husbandry in 2024. The Metropolitan Municipality Council unanimously accepted the decision that half of the water bills of producers engaged in animal husbandry will be covered by the Metropolitan Municipality.

In this context, Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Council, which held the first meeting of the new term after the 2024 Local Elections, made a decision that will continue to please the producers in the field of agriculture and livestock.
The request, which was among the agenda items of the April Meeting of the Metropolitan Municipality Council, to be covered by Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality for 50 percent of the water bills to be incurred by individuals and businesses engaged in animal husbandry that are actively registered in the TÜRKVET system, in order to support animal husbandry, was discussed and decided by the council members. The request was accepted unanimously by the members.
Thus, the Metropolitan Municipality will continue its support to producers by paying half of the water bill of animal business owners who are actively registered in the TÜRKVET system.
On the other hand, the council convened Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. to sign joint projects and implementation protocols with Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality and relevant public institutions and organizations, chambers of agriculture, cooperatives, universities, non-governmental organizations, professional organizations, in order to support agricultural activities. He also discussed the request for authorization to be given to Memduh Büyükkılıç or the person he will appoint. The council members accepted the request unanimously and made a decision.
Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, which is an example for Turkey by being one of the municipalities that provide the strongest support to producers in the field of agriculture and livestock throughout the country, aims to continue this strong support effectively and efficiently in the new period.
