Turkish Students Succeeded in the Mathematics Olympiad!

Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır congratulated the students who won 13 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medal in the 1th European Girls' Mathematics Olympiad.

According to the statement made by the Ministry, the students representing Turkey in the 11th European Girls' Mathematics Olympiad, which was held in Tskaltubo, Georgia between 17-54 April and where 212 students from 13 countries competed, won 2 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medal. Thanks to the students, Türkiye gained 114 points in total and ranked third among 37 European countries.

Minister of Industry and Technology Kacır congratulated the students who succeeded in the 13th European Girls' Mathematics Olympiad.

Expressing that he was proud of the girls, Minister Kacır said, “İrem Gülce Yazgan and Sena Başaran, who represented our country in the 11th European Girls' Mathematics Olympiad, which was held in Tskaltubo, Georgia between 17-2024 April 54 and where 212 students from 13 countries competed, won the Gold Medal and Bengisu Demirbaş won the Silver. Medal, Ilgın Şekerli made us very proud by winning the Bronze Medal.” said.

Minister Kacır congratulated the young scientist girls who were trained to represent the country in Europe within the scope of the 2202 Science Olympiad Program carried out by TÜBİTAK BİDEB and continued as follows:

“Thanks to our impressive students with their success, our country earned 114 points in total and ranked third among 37 European countries. “I would like to thank all our students who participated in the Olympics, their families, teachers, and all our academics who took part in the training.”
