Turkish Language Exam in Four Skills is a monitoring exam carried out to measure the reading, listening, speaking and writing language skills acquired by students throughout the education process at primary, secondary and high school levels, in order to protect and develop Turkish within the scope of the Measurement and Evaluation Regulation of the Ministry of National Education.

The exam, which is carried out on computers identified on behalf of the student in e-Exam centers, is carried out in accordance with the international standards determined by the Association of European Language Testing Practitioners (ALTE). In this context, four basic language skills are evaluated in different sessions with multiple choice questions, open-ended questions and tasks that measure skills. Listening/monitoring and speaking sessions are carried out in these centers through headphones that block ambient sounds.

With this exam, it is planned to systematically determine the proficiency of students in language skills and, as a result, to provide feedback on the Turkish teaching curriculum, teacher competencies and course materials.
