Traffic safety is given priority before the Eid al-Fitr holiday in Bolu. Provincial Police Department Regional Traffic Inspection Branch Directorate teams started a special information and awareness campaign for drivers in the Bolu section of the Anatolian Highway and D-100 highway. In this context, traffic rules are reminded to drivers who take a break in the tent called "Tunnel of Life".
Drivers who are invited to the tent called "Tunnel of Life" created on the D-100 highway are shown informative videos about the importance of seat belts, the effects of alcohol and mobile phone use on traffic, close following and excessive speed. This study aims to reinforce drivers' safe driving habits and prevent traffic accidents.
Recai Çağlar, one of the drivers who was informed in the "Tunnel of Life", stated to the journalists that he lost his family as a result of a traffic accident and emphasized that such practices should be increased further.
Çağlar stated that it would be very effective to constantly broadcast the videos he watched here and similar ones as public service announcements and said, “I am a driving and traffic instructor. I lost my entire family in a traffic accident in 1978. I love doing this job because I lost it the day I got married. "I try to teach the candidates I train to drive, not to get a driver's license." he said.
