Testing Process of KEMANKEŞ 2 Mini Smart Cruise Missile Started

The testing process of the KEMANKEŞ 2 Mini Smart Cruise Missile, developed nationally and uniquely by Baykar, has started. Tests of high-tech unmanned systems developed by Baykar continue successfully. The testing process of the KEMANKEŞ 2 Mini Smart Cruise Missile, which will be carried out at Baykar Flight Training and Test Center in Edirne's Keşan district, has started.

EFFECTIVE AGAINST RISKY TARGETS

The mini smart cruise missile, which can stay in the air for approximately 1 hour, will be able to travel quickly thanks to its jet engine and be effective against the riskiest targets behind enemy lines. KEMANKEŞ 200, which has a mission range of 2+ kilometers, will recognize its target thanks to its artificial intelligence-supported optical guidance system and have the ability to destroy it with full accuracy even in difficult weather conditions.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE SUPPORTED

It will change the balance on the battlefield by performing autonomous flight with its artificial intelligence-supported autopilot system and neutralizing strategic targets with high precision. KEMANKEŞ 2, which can be used in day and night conditions, will be able to operate without being affected by electronic jamming thanks to its anti-jamming technology. KEMANKEŞ 2 will provide support to the user in data tracking by transmitting all the data and images it obtains to the ground control station.

EXHIBITED FOR THE FIRST TIME AT TEKNOFEST

The first version of the mini smart cruise missile, KEMANKEŞ 1, developed nationally and indigenously by Baykar for use against strategic targets, was exhibited publicly for the first time at TEKNOFEST 27, held at Atatürk Airport between 1 April and 2023 May. It successfully completed its first firing test on June 14, 2023, by firing from the Bayraktar TB2 UCAV.

EXPORT CHAMPION

Baykar, which has carried out all its projects with its own resources since the beginning, has obtained 2003% of all its income from exports since the beginning of the UAV R&D process in 83. According to the data of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) in 2021 and 2022, it became the export leader of the defense and aerospace industry. Baykar, which was announced as the export champion of the sector in 2023 by the Presidency of Defense Industries, achieved exports of 1.8 billion dollars last year. Obtaining more than 90% of its revenues from exports in recent years, Baykar alone made 2023/3 of the exports in the defense and aerospace sector in 1. 97.5% of the currently signed contracts of Baykar, the world's largest UAV exporter, are export-based. Export agreements have been signed with 2 countries, 33 countries for the Bayraktar TB9 SİHA, and 34 countries for the Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA so far.
