Turkish Statistical Institute shared the Number of Paid Employees Statistics with the public.
The total number of paid employees in the industry, construction and trade-service sectors increased by 2024 percent in February 4,1 compared to the same month of the previous year. While the number of paid employees was 14 million 515 thousand 778 people in the same month of the previous year, it became 2024 million 15 thousand 104 people in February 259.
When looking at the sub-details of paid employees; In February 2024, the number of paid employees increased annually by 0,5 percent in the industrial sector, by 1 percent in the construction sector, and by 4,4 percent in the trade-service sector.
Meanwhile, the number of paid employees increased by 0,6 percent monthly.
When looking at the sub-details of paid employees; In February 2024, wage earners recorded a monthly increase of 0,1 percent in the industrial sector, 1,8 percent in the construction sector and 0,6 percent in the trade-service sector.
